Students start with the T'ai Chi 24 (short) form, a sequence of slow and graceful movements that over time will improve posture and balance and increase suppleness and strength. After completing the 24 form, spending time correcting and learning more advance details, students also learn the T'ai Chi sword form, which follows the same principles as the empty hands form. The students will learn a variety of new forms and some other disciplines to advance their understanding of T'ai Chi Chuan, such as boxing, stick fighting, animal forms, long form, long pole and applications of the sword form. |
