T'ai Chi Chuan follows three paths of meditation, health and combat. Meditation calms the mind and heart to relax the body and allow a focus on the precise execution of the movements of Chi Kung. This improves health, promotes rejuvenation and strengthens the body. Movements are applied in combat, T'ai Chi Chuan having originated as a martial art. Based in North London, we practice Yang style T'ai Chi Chuan. We are a friendly group and welcome new students.

Be soft in your practice. Think of the method as a fine silvery stream, not a raging waterfall. Follow the stream, have faith in its course. It will go its own way, meandering here, tricking there. It will find the grooves, the cracks, and the crevices. Just follow it. Never let it out of your sight. It will take you. Sheng-yen |
